 Ms. Velapoldi handles a broad array of employment law and civil and
business litigation matters at Albo & Oblon.
She is a contributing writer for the "Virginia Employment Law Alert,"
the firm's monthly e-newsletter, and she has also written articles on
employment law issues for Atlantic Coast In-House and the Society for
Human Resource Management ("SHRM"), the nation's largest trade
association serving the human resources profession. Ms. Velapoldi has
also conducted and contributed to various materials for continuing legal
education seminars on employment related issues.
Prior to joining Albo & Oblon, Ms. Velapoldi's practice focused on
employee benefits matters, primarily assisting clients in compliance
with the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), the Health
Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and the
Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (COBRA).
