H. Morgan Griffith

H. Morgan Griffith (Partner) is a well-known Virginia litigator and legislator.  He tries cases on a weekly basis and is very familiar with the court procedures and personalities in the Roanoke-Salem area.  He has handled numerous jury trials and hundreds of bench trials.  He is the Partner-in-Charge of the firm's Roanoke/Salem office, which he founded.

Mr. Griffith also serves as House Majority Leader in the Virginia General Assembly's House of Delegates.  He was first elected to the state House in 1993. The General Assembly is a part-time legislative body. Delegate Griffith, a Republican, is presently serving in his 7th Term. He represents a portion of Roanoke County and the entire City of Salem .  He also serves as the Vice Chairman of the Rules Committee, and is a member of the Courts of Justice (Judiciary) Committee, the Commerce and Labor Committee, and the Militia, Police, and Public Safety Committee.   

Mr. Griffith earned his law degree from Washington & Lee University in 1983, and earned his Bachelor's degree from Henry College in 1980.

Member: admitted to bar, 1983, Virginia; 1985, U.S. District Court, Western District of Virginia.
